Lasagna

Most delicious italian style lasagna.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pasta Dough
  • 1 Batch Bolognese (room temp)
  • 1 Batch Béchamel (room temp)
  • ~200g / 0.5lb Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 12oz freshly grated Mozzarella

Method

  1. Make pasta dough and cut into lasagna sheets.
  2. Boil the pasta in satly water for 30 seconds
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F
  4. Spread 1 cup of bolognese on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  5. Place a layer of lasagna noodles
  6. Spread 1 cup of bolognese and 1/4 cup of béchamel on top of the noodles
  7. Generously grate fresh Parmigiano Reggiano
  8. Repeat steps 3 - 5 until reaching the top of the pan
  9. Cover with freshly grated Mozzarella
  10. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour
  11. Uncover and broil on high for around 10mins. The top should be a nice golden color
