Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies will have a slightly crisp edge with a soft and chewy center.

Ingredients
- 1 cup (227g) butter
- 1 cup (198g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (213g) dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons (10mL) Woodford reserve double barrel bourbon
- 3 cups (360g) flour
- 1 teaspoon (6g) kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon (6g) baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) baking powder
- 12oz (340g) chopped chocolate or chocolate chips
Directions
- Cream the butter and the sugars.
- Add the bourbon and eggs
- Slowly mix until incorporated
- Add flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder
- Mix until just combined
- Stir in chocolate
- Portion dough ino 3.5oz balls, and place in a sealed container to rest in fridge for at least an hour
- When ready, bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 19 minutes
- Let cookies rest on baking sheet for a few minutes and cool on a wire rack. Keep in an airtight container once cold.
